Dick Weiss interview at his Marine Sciences comission

Father Dick Weiss with Daughter Mellissae Lucia interviewing him in front of his Marine Sciences stained glass windows from 1984

Last night with balmy 80 degree weather in Seattle Mellissae Lucia interviews her glass artist father about his dedication to being creative, how to balance family and work, and why he became an artist for MK Barr’s film Painted in the Desert-A Travel Essay. It was great fun, and Mellissae was thrilled to see her favorite commission he has created. This coming week we have six more interviews, including the Northwest glass masters Dick Marquis, Charles Parriott, Ben Moore and Bob Carlson. What a week!!
